On 26 August, as part of the XIII International Technological Development Forum “Technoprom 2026” in Novosibirsk, a round table was held: “Modern technological solutions in the development of global energy: deploying the best energy technologies — Russian and international perspectives”.
The event was organised by the Center for Energy and Technology Development of the Russian-Chinese Chamber and NSTU (Novosibirsk State Technical University).

The gap between research and deployment
The key theme of the meeting was one of the main challenges of modern energy — the gap between creating a promising technology and its actual industrial deployment. The focus was on the mechanisms that help research move beyond the laboratory, find industrial partners and turn into solutions the economy needs.
The Center's mission
This is exactly the mission our Center sets for itself:
- to bring together scientists, engineers, industrial companies and international partners;
- to create conditions for launching joint R&D projects;
- to support the deployment of advanced energy technologies;
- to build sustainable cooperation between science and the real sector.

Taking part in Technoprom 2026 was an important step for the Center in strengthening professional ties and developing new areas of technological cooperation.
The future of energy is created not only in laboratories. It begins where science, industry and international collaboration come together around concrete tasks.
This is exactly the space the Center for Energy and Technology Development creates. We thank NSTU, our partners, experts and all participants of the round table for a professional dialogue and their attention to the development of global energy.
